Nestled at the foot of Castle Mountain, our central but isolated location makes Castle Mountain Chalets an ideal getaway resort.
You will be close to the world-class downhill ski facilities of Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Norquay in Banff, Nakiska in Canmore and a short drive to the new Kicking Horse Resort in Golden, B.C. We also groom 17 Kms of National Park cross-country ski trails right from your door. Castle Mountain Chalets is truly a skiers paradise.
In summer, a variety of championship gold courses are just minutes away and hiking trails will lead you to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.
With Bow River at your door, anglers can enjoy the finest fresh water game available anywhere.

Castle Mountain Chalets are situated on the Bow Valley Parkway (Hwy. 1-A) at Castle Junction. From the Trans-Canada Hwy. (#1) get off at the exit for Hwy. 93 south to Radium Hot Springs (coming from Banff, turn right at stop sign; from Lake Louise turn left at stop sign) we are just 1 km from the Trans-Canada highway and 20 minutes from both town sites of Banff and Lake Louise.
