We are owner-operated, since 1998 when we purchased Quails Crossing and brought with us
a hot tub to add to the ammenities we would have to offer. Since then we have ourselves remodeled and upgraded all the cabins, which were CCC camp housing, moved here in 1961. In 1999 we built a modest 8 unit motel for the convenience of those not requiring a cabin. Late 99 we started our outdoor pool and finished the major construction in the spring of 2000 and opened it for that season, since then we added more concrete deck and have plans to build a rod iron fence and finish a man-made stream that will flow around it. We also inproved the walk
bridge over Spring Creek which leads to the Mickelson Trail access. In the spring of 2001 we built a large pavillion by the pool area for your shelter and large group gatherings, in the fall we purchased 2 colts for our own riding and added horse corrals for those who wish to bring thier own horses to ride the trail. During this time we have aquired several bikes for our customers to rent or use as according to our extended stay offer. We were also fortunate enough to purchase the 1946 Ford truck used to move the cabins from Custer to here, which adds to the History of Quails Crossing Resort. This 2002 season we have moved our office to another area
which now allows us to offer continental breakfast for our motel guests. The new office also includes a small convience and gift shop.
