In the heart of the desirable Old Town section of Puerto Vallarta (called Zona Romantica) is a beautiful two bedroom, two bath villa in one of the finest buildings in the area: Plaza Mar Condominiums. From the fourth floor you overlook the ocean and the activities on the most popular beach in the city.

The living room and master bedroom face the ocean. A spacious patio/balcony lets you relax and enjoy the view, gather with friends to watch the sunsets, or enjoy the balmy breezes in the evening. On the rooftop, away from the crowds, lounge on a secluded deck by the swimming pool.

The condo has all the amenities you could ask for in a beautifully decorated Mexican contemporary design. Large bedrooms each with pillow-top king-size beds. A fully equipped remodeled kitchen, large dining area, cable TV, stereo and VCR, two large bathrooms with giant tubs and showers, air conditioning (rarely needed), drinkable tap water and maid service 3 times a week. Best of all the condo is near everything. Shopping, fishing, art galleries, nightclubs, theater, and music entertainment. Also available are dinner and sightseeing cruises, snorkeling and diving, golf and tennis, all within short cab rides. Take the newly constucted Malacon walkway for an ocean view walk to downtown.

PlazaMar is not a timeshare or a hotel. It is a privately owned condominium complex. There is no walk-in traffic, hordes of party animals running amok, or large tour groups checking in at midnight. That does not mean it's sedate. The owners and their guests love to gather at the pool and exchange experiences and tips on where to eat, shop and fish.

Saturday to Saturday rentals. Check in time after 3pm. No smoking. No pets. No small children. 50% deposit upon reservation. The remainder 4 weeks prior to arrival. Laundry and phone facilities available.
