Located 3 Blocks inland from the beach, 9 Blocks south of main plaza.
Casa Martillo Condos offer you a choice of four 2 bedroom, 2 bath condos and two 1 bedroom, 1 bath condos, surrounding a courtyard with pool, fountain, palapa and two barbecues, one gas and one charcoal. We have WiFi, so bring your laptop.
All condos have central air-conditioning for cool, quiet living. Complete kitchens include purified bottled water, full size refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and all utensils. There is a large supermarket four blocks from Casa Martillo. We provide shopping carts. We provide bath towels, wash cloths, dish towels, salt, pepper, sugar, paper towels, dish soap, coffee filters and first morning coffee.
The upstairs of the two bedroom condos have one bedroom with queen bed and private bath, and one bedroom with two twin beds and adjoining bath. Downstairs includes dining room, living room with sofa bed, and kitchen.
One bedroom condos have queen bed and bath upstairs; dining room, living room with sofa bed, and kitchen downstairs.
Every bedroom has a balcony over-looking the courtyard and pool. The lower level of the one bedroom units have balconies with a small table and chairs that are perfect for breakfast or an intimate dinner for two.

Special Rates: 10% discount for late bookings made 30 days, or less, from check-in date. More discounts for multiple weeks or multiple units. SUMMER DISCOUNT OF %10 for July through October. Not valid with any other discounts. These special rates are available only through direct bookings with Casa Martillo and is not available through any agent. Cheap airfares are available through http://www.hobbittravel.com/Mexico.htm; Sun Trips Airlines; Allegro;and ATF. Some flights are cheaper to Cancun, then take the ferry. Continental flights direct to Cozumel.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $200 may be required for guest not paying by credit card. Security deposits are processed at the end of each month and refunds are credited to charge accounts or returned by check within 10 days thereafter.
Minimum Stay: Seven night minimum for Christmas/N.Y. Holiday. Five night minimum stay for Jan. through May and Oct. through Dec. Four night minumum stay for Jun. through Sep.
Maximum Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is 6 people for two bedroom condos and 4 people for the one bedroom condos. Sofa beds can sleep two adults, but are better for children. No pets.
Terms of payment and Refunds: Reservations require a 50% rent deposit for confirmation. The balance with the tax and security deposit must be received within 30 days prior to the arrival date. The rent deposit, less a $50 processing fee, is refundable until 60 days prior to the arrival date. There are no refunds of rent or tax for cancellation for any reason within 60 days of the arrival date. Cancellation insurance is available through travel agencies. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Check in - Check out Time: Check in is 1:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. Baggage may be stored in the secure laundry\dive room after check out.
Keys and Security: Casa Martillo uses VingCard computerized card door locks for all condos, the perimeter gates, and the laundry\dive room. Up to 4 cards and maps are mailed are mailed about 20 days before arrival date.
Electronic Safes: Each condo has a small programmable electronic safe for secure storage of passports, valuables, and cameras. A charge of $25 is imposed if you forget the combination you programmed, and require assistance in opening.
Dive Gear Rinse Tank and Storage: A secure store room and rinse tank is located in the laundry room.
Laundry: Free use of the on-site washer and dryer are available between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Iron is available anytime.
Telephones: A phone for local calls is in the common areal. Incoming calls from the States can be made by dialing 011 52 987 23139. Long distance calls may be made from the pay phone located 3 blocks from the condos.
No pets. No smoking in condos.

| | | Casa Martillo is just perfect! We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo and had plenty of space and comfort. Well kept grounds. We enjoyed the pool most every night. Very safe and convienent location. We did rent a car but could walk to many restaurants. Dive with Albatros Charters, Rita and Burak will not disappoint. |

| | | We had our stay @ Casa Martillo 01-31-03 to 02-07-04. I agree with previous posts, this is a luxury condo. Very clean. Has everything you need. Including my favorite, free laundry service. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He was very helpful in answering questions regarding the condo or Cozumel in general. |

| | | Our trips to Cozumel wouldn''t be the same without Casa Martillo. We love the quiet neighborhood, the clean rooms with all the conveniences of home. We have stayed in both the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units and both are extremely nice. The staff is warm and friendly and do all they can to make your stay a pleasant experience. |

| | | We stayed at the Casa Martillo a couple of years ago and it was AWESOME. We rented one of the two bedroom units and stayed there for eight days and seven glorious nights. The people that take care of the place were excellent. When we are fortunate enough to be able to make the trip back to Cozumel, this is definitely where we will stay again. It''s a very nice place to stay, but still VERY affordable! |

| | | My wife and I stayed at Casa Martillo in January 2001, and we were very impressed! The condo were spacious, clean, and new. The maid service was very good. I''d recommend Casa Martillo very highly. I gave it the highest marks in all catagories other than atmosphere. As stated on the website, it''s in a nice residential area a few blocks from the beach. Some people might prefer to be in town or on the beach, so the atmosphere may not be what they are looking for. We found it to be quiet and just fine. Would stay at Casa Martillo again! |

| | | Casa Martillo....I literally danced a jig on the threshold, it was so far beyond my highest expectations. Each unit is light, airy, immaculate and exceedingly comfortable (I've stayed in several and viewed all). The kitchen is equipped better than my own, the beds are firm, rooms spacious, showers hot, pool refreshing, grounds lush and bedecked with flowers. The staff are friendly, efficient, courteous, helpful (and wonderful to chat with). It's location allows for a quiet cultural experience, yet also provides for quick beach access. That I can do practical things like laundry and ironing, should the need arise (and it has), or cozy up with a video for an (introvert's) evening in, make this place more dear to me than home. Casa Martillo has become an integral part of my visits to Cozumel; without it the island would not be (and has not been) nearly as enjoyable. I'll book myself in for a seventh time with joy and gratitude.

I know my husband wrote to you how GREAT your place is, but I wish you would put a link on your website so we could tell everyone! A nice, clean, really neat place to read a book by the pool, chill out, and, as a smoker I enjoyed going outside........kinda gave me my own quiet time. Then again, if we told the world how great it is everyone would want to go there.......well ..good for you, bad for us perhaps. I cannot thank you enough for the great staff you have and the great work they do. They always asked to enter before they cleaned the condo, and were so respectful of us. You definitely have a great staff there, and I thank you and them....if only I knew Spanish......Thanks for a great vacation!!!
