The residence Parco Bouganville is located in Santa Maria di
Castellabate, about half a mile (800 meters) from the seaside,
with a panoramic view of the surrounding area. It is bordered by
the Cilento National Park and is near the seaside park of Punta
Licosa. The Cilento National Park is just a few miles from the
usual tourist routes, a place where nature mixes with art and
culture in order to offer you wonderful cultural sites, high
quality sea and beautiful landscapes. The Cilento National Park
has been recognized by the UNESCO since 1998 as part of the
World Heritage with the following justification: “The Cilento is an
outstanding cultural landscape. The dramatic groups of
sanctuaries and settlements along its three east–west mountain
ridges vividly portray the area's historical evolution: it was a
major route not only for trade, but also for cultural and political
interaction during the prehistoric and medieval periods. The
Cilento was also the boundary between the Greek colonies of
Magna Graecia and the indigenous Etruscan and Lucanian
peoples. The remains of two major cities from classical times,
Paestum and Velia, are found there (…) as well as the impressive
monastic property of the Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula”.
In Castellabate you will also enjoy a high quality sea that is
internationally awarded, with wonderful fragmented coasts as
well as beautiful fine sand beaches. In 2004 Castellabate has
been awarded once again the Blue Flag from the European
Union. The Blue Flag is an exclusive eco-label based on strict
criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and
information, environmental management, and safety and other
services.
Parco Bouganville's apartments all include a large living room
with kitchenette, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The
apartments, each about 60 square meters in size (about 650
square feet), are newly built and tastefully furnished. Each
apartment in Parco Bouganville has a large terrace or garden
overlooking the sea, complete with umbrella, table, and lounge
chairs.
Each apartment includes satellite TV. In addition, the residence
offers a large swimming pool (14 * 8 meters), outside showers,
Internet access and Internet point, an automatic gate opener,
parking within the complex, and a common picnic area
furnished with tables and benches and a barbecue.
Finally you have to know that in a one day trip from Castellabate
you can enjoy well known places as Positano and the Amalfi
Coast, Naples, Pompeii, Capri or Sorrento. Let me add just one
last thing: we live in one of the villas of the park so any kind of
problem you may experience … you will be just a few paces to

Apartments are rented on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday).
Rooms are ready for check-in at 5 P.M.; checkout is at 10 A.M.
The prices listed are for 4 people. An additional bed may be added, for which there is a 15% surcharge. Please ask for different number of people.
The rent includes water, electricity, and gas. There is a charge of 35 Euro for cleaning the apartment after checkout. You may request sheets and towels, with weekly change, at a cost of 7
Euro per person per week.
