Casa Tankah

Imagine staying in a tropical hideaway, on the Mexican caribbean. Casa Tankah is located in the beautiful Cancun ~ Tulum Corridor, approximately 75 miles south of Cancun & 5 miles north of Tulum. The property is a 1/2 acre, with 82' of spectacular beach frontage. Tankah bay is about a mile long with the world's 2nd largest barrier reef just off shore. A short stroll from the house there is a refreshing cenote. Just a short walk down the beach is the Maya Diving Shop located at Tulum Dreams Resort. One of the 5 PADI certified divers can take you out diving or snorkeling right in front of our house! You can also rent snorkels, fins & kayaks there. There are several great restaurants within walking distance of our house, as well as many, many more in Tulum, (a short 5 minute drive), or Akumal, (a 10 minute drive).

Nearby attractions include ~ Mayan ruins of Tulum, Coba & Chichen Itza ~ Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, a beautiful reserve abundant with wildlife and miles of deserted beaches ~ Dive shops in Tankah, Akumal & Tulum ~ Cavern & cenote diving ~ Snorkeling in Yal-Ku & Xel-Ha lagoons ~ Horseback riding on the beach ~ Golf at Puerto Adventuras & Playa Del Carmen ~ Ferry to Cozumel ~ Xcaret, a natural water theme park.

Casa Tankah has full time electricty now!! It has 2 bedrooms & 2 full baths, which accommodates up to 4 adults plus 2 futons for 4 people in the living room as well as a self inflating queen size air mattress, perfect for kids. This makes it great for 6-8 people. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms, the living room & the kitchen, as well as 2 free standing oscillating fans. The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring a gas stove & refrigerator. Candles are available to set a romantic mood. Linens and bath towels are provided, as well as beach towels. There is also an outdoor shower. Our property manager lives only a few doors down.
