64th Annual Bike Week in Daytona
Bike Week is an incredible 10-day festival from March 4 to March 13, 2005, that boasts hundreds of events for motorcycle enthusiasts to enjoy. Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors converge on Daytona for this festival of bikes, sun and fun.
Maybe it was the appeal of hard sand, warm winter days and the excitement of that first motorcycle race on the beach that gave rise to the first Bike Week. Or it could be the spirited activities surrounding the event that keep people keep coming back year after year. Whatever the case, Bike Week has been a tradition since January 24, 1937, the date of the inaugural running of the Daytona 200.
