This beautiful cottage in Bayside is on the southern end of the village near Kellys Cove. Just a short 2 minute walk will have you at the beach in Kellys Cove, or a short walk will have you at the waterfront pier and beach in the heart of Bayside Village. It is also 5 minutes to downtown Belfast and about 25 minutes into Camden.
Decorated tastefully throughout, we like to say that this cottage has the feel that a Maine cottage in the summer should have. Bright pine boards and lots of windows make it a great place to retreat after a day`s adventure on the coast. Enjoy the large deck facing the water with some peaks through the trees of the ocean. The Shore Road in front of the property is great for taking walks.
This cottage also offers some nice privacy with woods behind and to the sides of the cottage. The south facing front porch also offers great afternoon sun if you just want to bask while reading a book breathing the Maine fresh air. Enjoy the ample flat yard for any games of Croquet or Badminton. This is a great place for families looking for an old fashioned summer getaway with family or friends without the distraction of electronic entertainment.
BEACH CLASSIFICATION: We have categorized this property as having or being near a sandy beach. More specifically for this property, approximately a 2 minute walk south on Shore Road is Kellys Cove which is great for kids. As with all our Bayside properties - there is also public beach about 200 feet wide at the center of the village, a 10 minute walk away. There is not an actual usable sandy beach at this property, but the nearby beaches are great for kids and that is why we have classified it as being on or in this case - near a sandy beach.
