It is suitable for families or friends who want the best that the Canaan Valley and Davis areas have to offer. The home is situated minutes from Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley Sate Park, Canaan Valley Wildlife Refuge, and the Timberline Ski Area. Davis has become a popular haven for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and whitewater rafting, and provides the cameraperson with great shots of the mountains, fall foliage, and winter snow scenes.
After a long day out, you can unwind in downtown Davis, which is within walking distance of Mountain Memories, and dine at local legends such as Siriani`s Cafe, Hellbender Burritos, or kick back at Muttley`s and the Blackwater Brewing Company. Breakfast is served daily at Bright Morning Inn, where lumberjacks used to reside. The Sawmill Restaurant hearkens back to Davis`s lumbering roots. Be sure to bring your appetite with you!
