This beautiful newer cottage in Northport is on the Little River, but very close to the ocean across the road. You can paddle on the river in a rented canoe or kayak or there is a small path to access the beach across the road from the cottage. Located along Coastal Route 1, the cottage is situated for easy access to numerous outings and exploration up and down the Maine coast. A perfect retreat for a couple looking to do some sightseeing and have a comfortable rest to come back to and the end of the day. Downstairs is a comfortable living area and great working kitchen fully equipped for meal preparation and a nice covered porch swing and beautiful views. Upstairs, a full bath with shower, laundry, and a nice queen bedroom facing the water. Great for honeymoons and romantic escapes, you will love this great cottage!
Enjoy a nice hike that starts a few hundred feet down the road from the cottage just past the Little River Dam - Click HERE for a trail map and guide. Or take stroll through historic Belfast with shopping, dining, art galleries, and a movie theater.
This is a standalone cottage with its own driveway and entrance on a larger property with a main house. The owners that live in the main house are typically living at their Summer oceanside cottage in the nearby village of Bayside during the July and August months. There may be people around the main house occasionally but they will always respect a guests privacy.

Boat Rentals and other amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property.
