What a wonderful property for family and friends. You`ll feel comfortable the minute you park in the driveway. The 4 bedroom 2 bath property includes several desirable amenties for an vacationing guest: dock with swing and water toys, covered and open decks, a great 3 season sunroom, two living spaces and great surrounding landscaping throughout. And if you need a bit more room, rent the companion property - Blue Gill - that sleeps up to 4 more guests!
The Heron House 2 story home Entry leads you around the beautiful L-shaped kitchen with TV and high top dining for 6. Form the kitchen you`ll enter into the Living Room. This Living Room boasts lots of seating, a futon and big screen TV. Just past the Living Room is a great 3 Seasons Room. You`ll sit here most of the day taking in the lake views - visiting, reading and relaxing! Down the hall from the Kitchen are the hall bath with a shower tub and a second bedroom with queen and twin beds. The Master bedroom is also upstairs and faces lakeside with its relaxing decor and king size bed. Downstairs presents guests with: a Family Room with TV, a second nice sized shower bath and a laundry room with extra refrigerator. The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and the 4th bedroom has a lakeside view of the Lake with a full size bed.
The 1,700 square foot vacation rental is available year around and features central heating/air, satellite service, 2 TV`s, DVD players, phone, ceiling fans, all bedding, towels and iron. The kitchen is fully furnished with new stainless steel appliances (including a convection oven), dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Other desirable features include weekly trash pick-up, open parking, large laundry room and extra refrigerator - perfect for all your beverages. Onsite covered boat slips (24’ and 20’) and 2 10` PWC slips are available - each renting for $10 per day.
You`ll certainly be outside enjoying what the Lake and this special property have to offer. Just off the 3 Seasons Room is a spacious deck overlooking the Lake - and the deck is shaded in the afternoon making it even more enjoyable. The 3 Seasons Room has steps leading down to the covered lower level patio (also accessed from the lower level family room slider). The covered patio has a swing and additional seating for at least 7-9 guests. The property is surrounded by wonderful landscaped gardens that are sure to please and make you feel special. The owners added a gas grill to the property and raised the roofline on the dock in 2011. The grassy and shaded lakefront yard is a perfect place for kids to play - includes a large hammock perfect for naps under the large shade tree. And the little one will enjoy the old ramp area with gentle access to the water and easy place to store your extra inflatable water toys. The dock has a great sun deck with lots of seating, a swing, two slips, one boat lift, 2 PWC lifts and a fish cleaning station.
This special property offers guest spectacular panoramic views of the lake, excellent fishing, and an amazing view of the Ozark’s morning sunrise. This quiet side retreat is 25-30 minutes away from all the action on the other side of the Lake - Bagnall Dam, Lake Ozarks, and Osage Beach - via the community bridge.
Properties are furnished for normal housekeeping with dishes, cookware, flatware, glasses, grills, and basic appliances. Sofa sleepers are recommended for children’s use only. We are also pleased to provide bed linens, bath towels, and a starter packet of detergents, bath soaps, trash bags and paper products (toilet paper and paper towels). Guests should bring replacements for these starter packet items, your own beach towels, soaps, personal toiletries, coolers, cleaning supplies, camera, life jackets, etc.

| | | Heron House is nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen was amazing and very functional. The only thing we couldn't find in the kitchen that we needed was dish towels & cloths, but that wasn't a huge deal. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. The sunporch, deck and patio were all great spaces. Unfortunately we picked a chilly weekend to be there so we couldn't enjoy them as much as we would have liked, but for warmer times they would be wonderful. My husband and kids bundled up and spent hours and hours fishing off the dock and caught dozens of small fish. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend in the Heron House and we would love to go back soon!
