The Ducktrap Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage perched above the water in one of Maine`s most scenic ocean side neighborhoods. From the sunroom, enjoy the views of The Trap or barbecue on the back deck and play horse shoes.
To get closer to the water is just a short thirty second walk to the public beach at the bottom of the road where great fishing and swimming can be enjoyed. A mile south, Lincolnville Beach offers even more beach as well as great dining, seafood and scenery. The Whales Tooth Pub serves beer and wine from the local brewery and vineyards located right in Lincolnville. The Village of Camden is a short drive to the South and the village of Belfast is a short drive to the North. Both communities offer many recreational, dining and shopping amenities.
BEACH CLASSIFICATION: We have categorized this property as having or being near a sandy beach. More specifically for this property - it is a short 1 minute walk to the rocky Ducktrap Harbor public beach, but only a 1 mile walk or drive to the public and sandy Lincolnville Beach. There is not an actual usable sandy beach at this property, but the nearby Lincolnville Beach is great for kids and that is why we have classified it as being on or in this case near a sandy beach.

Boat Rentals and other amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property.
