Casa Mariposa Azul is located less than one block to the private beach area of the Playacar Phase I community. This is a neighborhood of exclusive custom built homes, enriched with low density and with Mayan ruins sprinkled throughout the grounds. This two bedroom colonial style home is one of the first of the homes in Phase I. It is just around the corner past the Xaman Ha Condominiums and right next to the park like area where you will find one of the most interesting Mayan ruins of Playa. During the day, this beautiful area is sometimes favored by brides for their small and intimate wedding setting. At night, the ruins are lighted to emphasize their ancient beauty. A short stroll will take you to the pier of the ferry to Cozumel Island and the start of the popular 5th Avenue pedestrian walkway.

Casa Mariposa Azul boasts a nicely manicured lawn, a patio with plenty of outdoor lounge chairs and other furniture, a large BBQ and one of the biggest private swimming pools in Playacar. You will not only be pleased with the impressive blue of the Caribbean to your left and the mystic ruins to your right, but upon arriving to the house you will be in awe of the huge tree which is hundreds of years old and which provides fabulous shade in the afternoon and fills you with peace at all times of the day or night. On the first level of Casa Mariposa Azul there is a fully equipped kitchen, a nice living and dining area and a small study. Each bedroom is air conditioned and has a full bath. As a guest of Casa Mariposa Azul, you will enjoy the benefits of fresh water bottle delivery service, maid service three times weekly and a bilingual property manager who is available to assist you whenever the need arises.
Casa Mariposa Azul, a place where you can sit on the terraces, feel the breezes, listen to the surf and look at various flocks of tropical birds as they land in the canopy of the ancient majestic tree along side the Mayan ruins. The owners invite you to come and enjoy their home, the fine white sand and the many blue hues of the ocean. Occasionally they may be found on site in a private suite adjacent to the house. Your privacy is respected, but they will be glad to share with you their knowledge of the area and local restaurants if asked.
