Experience the solitude of one of the High Country`s premier communities in this comfortable, casually elegant 3 bedroom private home in Hounds Ears, just 5-7 miles from the heart of Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, and several of the area`s ski resorts. Enjoy relaxing on the porch overlooking the 17th green of the Hound Ears Golf club golf course. You also have a wonderful long range valley view of the Hound Ears Club golf valley where you can see big skys and great foliage that will be especially great during the premiere leave changing periods of the year. Hound Ears is located on the Watauga River, one of the eastern United State`s premier trout fishing areas. Close by you could also visit the natural wonder and beauty of nearby Grandfather Mountain. The dining room is surrounded by windows that lets you enjoy the same great view you get from the porch.
1 King bedroom, 1 bedrooms with a bunk bed (with a trundle) as well as a blow up mattress available, 1 bedroom with a full size bed, 2 pull out single couches in the game room, and 1 couch in the living room can accommodate a party of 8-11 people. The master bedroom and the bunk room both have their own private bathroom. There is a full bath room downstairs to accommodate both the full size bedroom as well as the recreation room with the large flat screen TV and two single pull out couches. There is an additional half bath and laundry on the main floor to accommodate the rest of the house. It should be noted that there are no tubs in the house, other than the Hot Tub, if that is important to a guest.
This home is a beautiful private home with a Hot Tub, georgeous hewn hardwood floors, custom covered luxurious furniture, a large stone gas burning fireplace, a new large flat screen TV with cable, high speed internet service, a Foosball table air conditioning and a washer & dryer.

| | | Just a note to say how much we enjoyed the Azalea house. The view was beautiful; the house clean and warm and inviting...great selection of games and movies. The deck and the hot tub were superb. Loved the excersize room and the huge shower. The owners have put alot of thought into making their tenants very comfortable. The weather was even gorgeous. | | | We had a wonderful stay in the lovely home on the golf course. The location was perfect. The amenities were great. It was in the middle of everthing we wanted to see and do. We only needed more time to stay and enjoy more of the high country! Our husbands enjoyed the golf at Boone Golf Club two days and we all four did the Hawksnest Zipline. We ate at Vidalia's in Boone one night. The southern fried chicken was yummy…Thank you for a wonderful October vacation!! |
