This renovated single family cottage offers a great modern feel and lots of character. Situated on a quiet street on the North End of Tybee you can enjoy a restful vacation experience without giving up convenience. Take an easy stroll just 4 blocks up a one-way lane to access the main beach, with no busy roads to cross. Families will also enjoy the easy access to Jaycee Park with its playground and walking trails. Within a 5-10 minute walk you will also find several shopping and dining options.
Many modern touches including a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The comfortable and cozy living area includes a 32 inch flat screen TV and DVD and a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping capacity. The bright and open dining area can seat up to 6 at the table.
Mellow Yellow can accommodate up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, both with tub/showers. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen and flat screen TV/DVD. The guest bedroom is furnished with 2 Twin beds and must be passed through to access the master. The twin room features a nice curtain feature for added privacy.
Outside amenities include a small furnished screened porch on the front of the home perfect for that morning coffee. There is a fenced backyard with a nicely furnished back deck with table seating 6, gas grill, and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. This cottage is pet friendly for up to 1 adult dogs under 25lbs. There is complimentary WIFI (wireless internet) for your use. Parking for up to 3.

| | | "Pulling up to Mellow Yellow reminded me and my husband of his family beach cottage that he grew up with. The beach is a very short walk from the cottage. We loved the beach by the cottage, because it wasn't crowded and there was plenty of room to play in the water, build sand castles, explore sea creatures, and look for shells. We had the best time at the Cottage and on Tybee from fishing from the pier, to going on a dolphin cruise, and visiting the Civil War Fort. When we come back Mellow Yellow will be where we'd like to stay again. My son asking if we could come back next year and stay in Mellow Yellow, sums up how we enjoyed our time in Tybee. Tybee Vacation Rentals was awesome as well, checking that everything was okay and that we were enjoying ourselves, as well as leaving a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our anniversary. Can't recommend Tybee Vacation Rentals and Mellow Yellow enough." |

| | | "Lovely quiet cottage, very close to the beach. Very nice back yard with morning sun. The cottage was comfortable and enough room for two couples to relax. Very nice to walk or cycle along the beach and if so inclined come back on the streets.Very enjoyable bike path (rented bikes from Tims very close by who also deliver). The beach area close to the cottage was very nice and was able to fish from shore. All amenities were clean and in perfect condition.We have stayed here twice in the last six months and look forward to going back again." |
